Four large blocks of student accommodation; office and retail will house 500 students. This is another large Passivhaus scheme with the same client as the Canary Wharf scheme. The repetition is allowing us to refine our design approach on each subsequent project.
As Sub-consultants to Henriksen Studio, we helped set the Passivhaus target in motion with an early-stage feasibility study. Then we built a team to run the Passivhaus assessment and refine the MEP design and airtightness strategy from RIBA stage 2 to 4.
